Patti Banghart

Patti Banghart is a research associate for the Research Connections project at NCCP. She coordinates and contributes to the project’s various research and policy-related publications on key topics in child care and early education.
Prior to joining NCCP in September 2006, Patti was a research associate at the Urban Institute in Washington, DC, where her research focused on the child care subsidy system, a national evaluation of an Early Head Start program for "kith and kin" caregivers, and a federal evaluation of programs for youth aging out of foster care. She holds a master’s degree in social work from Columbia University’s School of Social Work.
