This is a description of NCCP's two-year action research project that addresses a central challenge: What do we know about strategies for promoting social inclusion and respect for diversity (SI & RD) in early childhood education environments?

This report provides an overview of the issues raised at the Promoting Tolerance and Respect for Diversity in Early Childhood meeting held in Brooklyn, NY, on June 25, 2007.

This report attempts to map the nature of approaches to diversity, tolerance, and respect for diversity (DTRD) education in programs directed to children from birth to ten years of age in the United States.

This annotated bibliography includes research and policy books, articles, reports, and other resources on diversity, tolerance, and respect for diversity (DTRD) education for children younger than 10 years of age, and their parents, teachers, and/or caregivers, published since the 1990s.
