THRIVE Webinar: Risk Assessment: Using State-level Data Tools

Zara Dee Mehta and Kadie Bower (Pennsylvania Office of Child Development and Early Learning) presented on Pennsylvania's Risk and Reach Study, a tool to assess early childhood needs, inform policy, and track progress in reaching all of Pennsylvania's children. They discussed implementation, data collection, and policy and advocacy uses of the study.
Paula Corrigan-Halpern, Khan Guven, and Bernard Cesarone presented on the Illinois Early Childhood Asset Map, a tool provides a comprehensive picture of early care and education services in Illinois by combining up-to-date demographic information with early childhood program information from state agencies, Head Start, and private sector child care.
