These state summaries are the result of a nationwide scan of the State Early Childhood Comprehensive Systems (ECCS) Initiatives. This is the first state-by-state review of early childhood systems development efforts. The summaries reflect the progress made by the State ECCS grantees with their partners and stakeholders. Each state's initiative was reviewed and summarized by Project THRIVE staff in collaboration with state ECCS coordinators, and is based on information from Fiscal Years 2005 and 2006.
