Family Resource Simulator

The Family Resource Simulator shows the impact of federal and state “work support” benefits on the budgets of low- to moderate-income families. Results illustrate how a hypothetical family’s resources change as earnings increase, taking public benefits into account. 

PRiSM: Promoting Research-informed State Infant-Early Childhood Mental Health Policies and Scaled Initiatives 

PRiSM helps advocates and policymakers identify many of the most promising strategies states are using to promote infant-toddler mental health. PRiSM has an online, searchable collection of research-informed IECMH policies and scaled initiatives along with summaries of research about key IECMH strategies 

State Immigration Policy Profiles

The State Immigration Profiles provides users with data for each state about the number of children with parents of different immigration statuses, eligibility restrictions placed on immigrants for benefit programs, and state/county participation in immigration enforcement.

Basic Needs Budget Calculator

The Basic Needs Budget Calculator shows how much a family needs to make ends meet. Select state and city (or county), number of parents, and number and ages of children, and the Budget Calculator calculates the cost of minimum daily necessities.

Benefit Cliffs Calculator (MTRC)

The Benefit Cliffs Calculator can be used by case managers and persons receiving benefits to help them anticipate potential loss of benefits due to an increase in earnings, and other factors.
