Child Care and Early Education Research Connections is a project of NCCP and offers access to a free and easily searchable online collection of more than 14,000 resources from the many disciplines related to child care and early education. Resources include original scholarly research, government reports, fact sheets and briefs, datasets, and instruments. Additionally, interactive tools allow users to refine their searches, download full-text documents, build customized tables on state policies, compare state demographics, and analyze research data online.
Helping to fulfill NCCP’s mission to foster healthy child development, the goal of Research Connections is to promote high-quality research in the field of early care and education and to help that research inform policy. As part of this goal Research Connections also commissions and develops various Reviews of Research,Research-to-Policy Briefsand Key Topic Resource Lists, that synthesize and summarize research and provide bibliographies on key topics.
Research Connections is funded by the Office of Planning, Research, and Evaluation, Administration for Children and Families in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. It is operated through a partnership between NCCP and the Inter-University Consortium for Political and Social Research, at the University of Michigan.
